Default London!!!

Well I have much to tell and a review will follow. Saturday night was fab but there were some idiots in the front row in front of Stevie's mic creating when people stood so I stood slightly to the right. I didn't have to sit down and Stevie spotted me pretty much right away and smiled and waved.

I'm knackered after my weekend and will be back later but yes... I was Lindsey's 'Come' girl again... he had that look when he saw me in the audience. And at the end I had the gift for Stevie that she didn't take in Birmingham but I tied a helium filled balloon to it so she couldn't miss it. Luckily I gave it to her after Don't Stop even though I didn't know at that time that Goodbye Baby was dropped. She walked over smiling so big and took my gift and then took my other hand and then she was actually talking to me! I had to lip read mostly but she said 'I got your letter, thankyou for your letter' and she was making writing movements with her hand!! Wow!

Oh yes... James Brown and Bryan Ferry will be mentioned in my review also! LOL!

Oh and BTW... Goodbye Baby was dropped for 2 reasons,

Firstly EC has a strict curfew and they started late. Started much Earlier on Sunday. And also Stevie's Dad was unwell

And Christine was never officially supposed to be there on Saturday. I was told she would be there on the 10th at the final show. Peter Green was in the audience on Sunday

Sunday me and my friends were the collective 'Come' girls! And Stevie saw me and waved and gave me some nice smiles again!

Is it me or do those boots have a bigger platform on them than she's worn for a while?

Pip... Was Goodbye Baby dropped on BOTH nights, or just Saturday? Someone posted on another list that it was played on Sunday.

Just Saturday. It was the time thing but also that Stevie's Dad was unwell. Luckily I held up my present after Don't Stop!

OMG-those are camel-color boots, just like back in the day! Big ol' chunky mofo heel n' all. Maybe she has finally made it thru menopause and will ditch the orthopedic S.A.S. tennies! And she is wearing a splash of color in that overjacket-dress-thing that she has NOT overworn (yet)! Well, they are singing great, playing great, selling well (concerts at least), and if Stevie is back to wearing boots and mixing up her outfits: THEN... THIS REALLY IS "THE YEAR OF FLEETWOOD MAC"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooHOOOOO!

She only had them on for one song. I did notice her walking funny throughout both concerts like her hip was really bothering her

Thanks Pip-just when I thought all was right in Stevieland again (the boots are back! the boots are back!).
Better one song than none I guess. There's so much to say about the boots, and maybe a small part of it hasn't been said a hundred times before because I have a theory. And I think we, as thoughtful Ledgies, should seriously consider it. But instead of going way off the topic of this thread I will go make a new thread, and reveal my theory...and lament the loss of platform boots once again!
