Okay, it's pretty bad when an old guy from Toronto is the only Ledgie heading to The Joint in Los Angeles this friday, ( the 17th December 2010),
to see Stevie' Nicks solo tour band play, ie, Waddy Wachtel, Jimmy Paxson, &, Al Ortiz, along with Brett Tuggle, from the Fleetwood Mac Unleashed Tour; keyboard/guitar, hmmm. Where is The Joint, it is at; 8771 West Pico Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90035-2212, United States (310) 275-2619, c'mon everybody, it's only 10 bucks at the door, incredible value, Last edited by Edgeof27; 12-15-2010 at 08:51 PM.. |

There's a bootleg...
of this show over on demonoid.me (Have to register to download it) if you werent aware:
http://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2492426/35228154/ Waddy Wachtel Band Special Holiday Show Friday, December 17, 2010 The Joint, Los Angeles, CA I got a new toy awhile back so I took it to The Joint to record the show. I was playing around a little with different recording settings so the levels are a bit uneven in a couple of places. It was a pretty okay show of all cover tunes - I had to leave before it was over so the second set fades out during "Just Like A Woman." You never know who will show up at Waddy's shows at The Joint. One time it was Neil Young, a couple of weeks ago it was Peter of "Peter and Gordon." Last night's guest were a regular, Keith Allison of "Paul Revere and the Raiders" fame and Blondie Chaplin who has worked with bands as diverse as the Beach Boys, The Band and the Rolling Stones. Tascam Dr-100 recorder 44,100-16 > Audition > cdWave > Flac > You Waddy Wachtel - Lead Guitar, Vocals Brett Tuggle - Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals Jamie Savko - Vocals Al Ortiz - Bass Jimmy Paxson - Drums plus...... Quote:
I'd pay $1 to hear Brett Tuggle play "Little Lies" on a Casio outside Mr. Chow... but to hear him karaoke in front of a crowd of mostly comps at the WH HOB? N'thanks. |
