LB album debuts at #8 on Rising Artist Chart
Well, looks like all that publicity worked and Lindsey's landed himself in the Top 10… on *some* type of Billboard chart.
https://www.billboard.com/music/lind...G/song/1030773 Edit: At first I thought this was the Billboard 200 album chart but that’s not the case. Others have clarified that it’s a “Rising Artist” chart.

What? Unbelievable. And you promise it's the regular chart and not Adult Contemporary Skyscraper Elevator Music chart?

I highly doubt it charted on Billboard 200 at all.
I thought the Billboard 200 for week of 9/17-9/23 doesn't come out until Tuesday 9/28. I know he charted in the Top 40 in the UK, which is his highest after LBCM. |

and as already said, he did debut at #25 on the UK chart, which is i believe his highest ever as a solo act -

#37 in Germany
Hi there,
Lindsey Buckingham charted this week at #37 in the German Album Top 100. This is his first ever solo entry in these charts 🙂. Greetings from Germany Tobi 👋 |

The thread title is true. It doesn't say "on the Billboard 200"
The thread creator should edit their original post, which mentions Billboard 200 Good news about United Kingdom and Germany in this thread |

the thread title is about the album. that #8 is about artist, apparently.

OK, I edited the original post to make it accurate. The thread title is still showing the original in the main forum however.

Do you know what it’s ultimate placement was?

For what it's worth, he's #19 in cds and vinyl on Amazon's chart.

To close the loop on this, it looks like the album missed the Billboard 200 entirely. The chart for the week of Oct. 2 is out, and I don't see Linds on there.
https://www.billboard.com/charts/billboard-200 However, he's at #13 on the Top Album Sales, which tracks pure album sales (not factoring in streaming services), and #37 on Top Rock Albums. I'm surprised he didn't make the 200 at all; he hit #53 with his Solo Anthology in 2018, which came after the chart started including streaming.
