Default Trivial Pursuit Totally 80's Edition ...

Card # 257, Music Question:

"What late pop star inspired Lindsey Buckingham's D.W. Suite?"
"Dennis Wilson"

Thought I'd share that. Was surprised it was a Lindsey solo Q and not a FM one.

Cool Ya know...

Deb & myself were watching "Jeopardy" the other day (Never watch Jeopardy and try to outplay my wife, she'll smoke ya) and the following question was in the "70's music" catergory:

"1979 followup album to this band's album "Rumours" " (A picture of "Tusk" era FM was shown)

Can ya believe the dweebs on this episode did not get it correct? Dumbasses, tsk, tsk, tsk.

That was a category on regular Jeopardy? Cool. I don't think I've even heard a Mac question on Rock N Roll Jeopardy... which you should never play with me.

that was a question on regular "Jeopardy". Hell, my wife isnt much of a FM fan (!) and she even immediately knew the answer.

Btw, Never play me in any music related trivial game...I'm a tough opponent (I'm a walking music history 'joke-book'). But I also love "Sudoku" too, so music trivial and "Sudoku" are my fave mind games.

Kinda relating to music trivial, one day about a month ago Deb called from work to ask me a question that the hospitals pharmacist needed the answer for to win a radio contest-The question:

"What was the original name of the band that would later become Led Zeppelin?"

Gee, took a second for me to answer "The New Yardbirds"...Never knew if Jack (The pharmacist) won the radio contest or not.

Well then, in any music related trivial game, we could team up and whip some serious ass. I'll leave the sudoku to you, though.

You should find out if he won. And if he did, ask why the hell he didn't share whatever the prize was with you.
