Big Love on Elizabethtown Volume 2

A copy of this appeared on my desk this morning. I didn't see the film, but from everything I read, I was under the impression that the movie contained a NEWLY recorded version of Big Love, right? The version on the soundtrack is marked with an asterisk saying 'different master contained in film.' The track here is the Dance version. Complete with crowd noise. Nothing new.

Thanks for the info. You know, I can't remember what version of "Big Love" was played in Elizabethtown. That was such a horrid film, I've tried to block it all out.

Hmmm, I'm kinda disappointed. I want that Ryan Adams track though.
Also I thought Kathleen Edwards had contributed new songs to the film, where are they? Summer Long is on Back To Me.

The Ryan Adams track is really good, but what made this whole thing worth it to me is Patty Griffin doing "Moon River." Totally amazing.
