not in this particular case. I haven't seen all of them, or all of all of them, or anything. I saw the whole second one, i think. And some of the third.
You go, though!

Doesn't it come out tomorrow, not Wednesday?

Anyway, I pre-ordered it at Amazon as a gift for my boyfriend and I received notice that it shipped yesterday. We're both pretty excited about the fifty extra minutes.

Unfortunately, my coffers are too thin to be able to afford to buy it right now, but I am very much looking forward to seeing the extra scenes one of these days...and an extended look at Viggo Mortensen is not a bad thing, either!

Jason, you enjoy it for me, ok????

Over here ...

The best movies of all time, bar none. If they have the power to move me the most jaded, uninspirable person on this earth- that just shows you how kick-ass they really are.

If they don't move me, does that mean i'm the most naive, inspirable person ever? JK. Enjoy!

Sadly, I cannot be on your neck of the woods to wait in line with ya But, I agree, in fact I and my friend I go to the movies with SOBBED with glee and the though of good over bad as well as the sheer beauty of Galdalf on the horse on the hill coming to save Helm's Deep AND - I did the same when Mordor fell after the destruction on the One ring. Also, the same on my first hearing of Annie L.'s song.

I know they were long and not for everyone and they were not faithful to the books, but given the sheer amount of material and the size of this project, they were magnificent to me and theankfully many many others!!!!!

P.S. thanks Patt9 - I will!!!!

P.S.S. Stevie would have made a KICK ASS Queen of the Elves - although Cate B. did a great job

Add me to the list of people who love the LOTR movies! My sister and I watch the extended editions of the first two whenever she comes up to visit from Pasadena. They only get better each time.

Ha...I always thought that Stevie would be great as a character in the trilogy, even just a background person.

I really want to see this. The movie itself is phenominal, and I'm sure the extras will be to.

As for Stevie being in the movie, that would've been awesome! And didn't David Bowie want to play Elrond? Now that would've been bizzare: David Bowie and Stevie Nicks as the elf king and queen

Lightbulb Well...

I just saw LOTR for the first time, on TNT the other night...I watched the last part, then the next night, I caught the middle, then Sunday night, I saw the beginning. LOL! One of these days, I'll get to watch the whole thing in order. Also, I haven't see the other two.

It's a great movie, I'd like to see the others.

OMG the Mouth of Sauron was so freakin creepy. I also enjoyed the houses of healing. And I'm so glad they included the crossroads scene. I just wish they had put a bit more of Arwen in there. Did you hear the song in the houses of healing scenes btwy? That's Liv singing.
I was kind of dissapointed with the final conflict with Saruman...I thought it was kind of ridiculous..
