This is the one poll where I literally can't vote for a single song. I can't even nitpick a single thing on any of them. Tusk is Stevie's greatest work with Fleetwood Mac.

I've always considered Stevie's Tusk contributions virtually flawless, but I had to go with Beautiful Child. Gorgeous song, but it's just a touch too slow for me.

I voted Angel. I love the rest of her songs on this album.

I voted Angel, without even thinking about it. Spanning Stevie's career, it is one of her better songs; in a line up with her Tusk material however, it's easily the weakest link.

This was easy, come on.....lol. Angel. It's weak when put up against those other juggernauts

While we're talking about Stevie's songs on this album, why is it that it took 27 years for Storms to get live performance treatment?

I voted Storms. And I have no excuses. But "Angel," I think, gets mistaken for the weak link but I get goosebumps during the "look up" part. I think she utterly captures a moment. But "Storms" is exquisite. And so powerful.

I would love it get an answer to this question from one of them. I first heard that song on...like friday I think and it surpasses so many of their other songs for me. It is so beautiful.

I had to go with Sara. Maybe once I listen to it more I will love it, but right now, out of all the choices, it is the weakest song for me.
"I'm not a child anymore I am tall enough to reach for the stars I am old enough to love you from afar too trusting? yes, but then women usually are" -why I love Beautiful Child I might have chosen Sisters of the Moon had I not heard the piano demo. I think that is one of the most beautiful performances I have ever heard. Even though Angel is getting a little tired for me, I still like it. Storms is becoming my favorite FM song. The chorus is absolutely haunting. |
