When I spoke to Ricky, he told me that
Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac is one of his biggest influences. Looking at the list above, you can hear elements of all of them in their music. Ricky plays mostly notation on his guitar and it is very reminiscent of songs like "Reptile" by the Church, and anything off "Pygmalion" by Slowdive.
