I'm going to have to agree. I think she's trying to romanticize the whole relationship.
Who in their right mind is going to believe that first thing, that he wasn't upset about the breakup? I mean, even if you don't give one iota about the whole soap opera behind the band,
that's something that almost can't be denied. For one thing, I can clearly remember him saying that the 'spectre of Stevie disabled several long-term relationships'. And even Kristen says she knows that he hadn't been in a good relationship since Stevie.
