Lindsey was the driving force to keep the band creative, fresh, and new. To keep FM from becoming a nostalgia act.
No one plays the guitar quite like Lindsey Buckingham, especially within the confines of FM.
Lindsey added to the melodrama of FM. The Lindsey/Stevie dynamic is gone.
Lindsey was loyal to the band. He was willing to stay to the end through thick and thin. His heart was with FM.
The history he shared with FM can't ever be replicated and the continuation of that is now over. Could there ever be a better chapter of FM without him?
NO! Everything else is now anticlimactic.
