Notice how he avoids
bending the strings.. This was something he started in the 80s, if you listen to the live recordings from that era. (Although he went back to bending with the Splinter Group.)
I really like that .. bending strings is imo very much a
habit among guitarists. So it's kind of brave of him .. especially to play BLUES with no string bending. If you try it, you'll soon realize that it's
hard to avoid the habit og bending! One needs to
think more...
So Peter Green the 2000s has developed a very distinct, personal style!
