He had already gone beyond what he had intended to do and was not particularly motivated in touring to recoup Mick’s lost millions. Even if they brought him to court for bailing, their reasons for doing it would have made themselves look pretty bad. They would have likely lost, even if he had signed something. But he hadn’t.
