I'm not quite sure why such discussions
should lead to fighting, though. If you don't have a least favorite or don't want to pick one, then I'd think you'd just skip the poll.
In the Rumours sections, the polls have led to interesting song discussions, rather than dissension.
If you believe that these votes are too polarizing or are likely to lead to song or artist criticism which you find unfair, I can understand that. That would be a good reason to just ignore poll threads.
