Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I felt like sharing my babies.
My sweet (but sometimes grumpy) old man, Tiny. He's 17 years old and in kidney failure, but is on a special diet and subcutaneous fluids at home and is doing pretty well.
My well-meaning but pain in the rear 6 year old, Jasper. I got him when he was 5 months old. He'd spent two months(!) in the shelter before I got him.
My cheeky b-hole rat, Smalls. He's about 15 months old. He had a cagemate named Yeah-Yeah, but sadly Yeah-Yeah became very ill and passed away not long ago, despite treatment so Smalls is my only rat right now.
I also have three freshwater planted aquariums with White Cloud Minnows, amano shrimp, cherry shrimp, and assorted snails.
