Oh I have two sewing machines. One belongs to my mum and decided that it was going to snap the thread everytime I tried to sew (turns out I had the tension wrong) and mine is from the 50's, goes only back and forward and tends to heat up until it starts to smell like burning. So I decided hand sewing was the best way.
I've still got another legwarmer and my full sized Edge cape to do aswell.
To add insult to injury, I couldn't find crushed velvet, so I chose smooth backed crepe with silver gauze to go on top. All night it's been slipping and sliding and arrrghhh
Why did I decide I was making a Bella Donna costume? WHY?!
