I don't dispute Stevie being a gay icon. Many hugely successful female recording artists are. I don't think Stevie is anti-gay at all. However way back in the NickFix days of the late 90s I remember Stevie not embracing The Night of a 1000 Stevie's shows. She called it "really scary."
