I agree; but sometimes I feel confused about when to use them -- OH well, that's life! . . .
By the way, check out Dickens in the Christmas Books sometime - - He's the Master of Using Colons Correctly - - - I had never known that you can have several in one sentence. Throw a semicolon or two and some commas into the same sentence, and you're really rockin' and rollin...
