I've only met Lindsey various times at his solo concerts either waiting after the show or getting there early as he arrives for soundcheck.
He's always been cool and gracious.
I met Richard Dashut at Lindsey's 2006 San Francisco solo show, and am STILL kicking myself for not getting a photo with him! ARG!! He hugged me after I told him it was wonderful to meet him and thanked him for helping them make such amazing music. He was very nice. At that same show...John Stewart and Buffy came outside, but stupid me didn't ask them for a photo, autograph or anything.
