It is just so hreatbreaking ya know. I mean I lived in these areas as NOLA is famous for having good and really bad areas next door to each other etc. So, I know from that point of view where these people are coming from. Yet, if I owned the store I might be a little pissed, etc., though the insurance probably will cover it along with the damage claim.

on edit - In the end, the right thing to do is evacuate if possible or go to a shelter. The reason for this is because now critical police attention is taken from critical rescue efforts and placed on this crap. Also, experience has taught me many looters purposefully did not go to the shelters because they know they will make cash from looting because there is little the police can do about it at this point. They also sell the goods to the other poor. Almost all looters suck. <------- and that is a period.
