The thing a lot of us long time Stevie fans forget is that we came into Stevie's fandom through her videos and albums, though the 70's, 80's, and 90's. The 16 year olds are discovering her through her Twilight connection, American Idol, hopping on stage with Maroon 5 and stuff like that. So it's not unusual for Zoe to have AI as her first Stevie exposure.
There was a little girl on Vine who posted a video with the title being something like "My Stevie Nicks impression". I conjured images of this little girl throwing on her mom's lace table cloth and spinning around and around. Was I surprised to see this little girl in a full face closeup put on a pair of gold and tan aviator sunglasses and start lipsynching to Edge of Seventeen. I thought it was so funny for someone's who's signature thing has been the same for 40 years to now have a whole new image in the minds of this new generation.
