I sure wish John would write a book. The stories he could tell about working with Clapton, Mick, Lindsey, Billy, Rick and Christine and everyone else. I love the part in Mick's first book where the band was rehearsing for the white album with Lindsey. Lindsey picked up a bass guitar and was telling John..."You should play something like this....." Lindsey was playing fast and funky. John had none of it and went off on Lindsey. How dare this new guy come here and tell me how to play.
I love to hear stories like this. The quiet ones always have the most to say.
