Fascinating! I'd always assumed these Mc Vie "sackings for drunkeness" were sort of "You're drunk! You're fired! Get out of the van ! "-but when he had sobered up they all made up! Obviously it was more serious than that.
Also, I'm amazed at how scathing Mayall is about Clapton !
