on the subject of this here thread: there is an earlier thread somewhere on this forum (can't recall if "peter green" or "the early years"), where it came down to the same matter - other guitarists in greeny mode. i remember mentioning 2 axemen myself:
first of all must be SNOWY WHITE, who should need no further introduction at all to fans of peter's.
another one is GREGOR HILDEN. he's from germany and he's got some 15 or so records under his own belt. also citing jeff beck and larry carlton as influential to his playing, greg's never shy to show a very strong peter green influence again and again. i recommend highly to check him out on youtube. here's one to whet your appetite:
