Not sure, but I could've sworn that on the 2003 tour & later he's played it in Em.
So it's evolving into lower keys AND getting played slower & slower & slower each tour. Pretty soon it'll get so low & slow that he'll switch from guitar to bass to do the solo.  |
Like I said, there's something about the higher pitch/key that draws me in.
I'd love to see the look on John's face if Lindsey "borrowed" one of his basses for the song.
