Dressing up as Bettie was really easy, actually. It just involved a great wig (Hot Topic has one for Halloween & Spirit Costumes has a cute one), and the basic 50's cheesecake pinup makeup (pale face makeup, rosey blush, red lips, black liner).
Bettie is one of my idols. Getting "into" the costume was really easy for me, since I really admire her energy and her overall charm. She's inspired me to consider getting into pinup modelling when I get older, but I still have a few years to decide that.
