Aside from his gf Cheri, Lindsey has purchased homes for his family members as well. Additionally, CAL said he bought property for her and she claimed he saved himself a lot of money because she could have taken half of everything he had, which is not exactly true. And raising rich kids in LA ain't cheap either, nor is subsidizing your wife's business ventures, or any of their equestrian hobbies.
Stevie may have recouped a lot of her earlier income via never-ending solo tours, etc. Her solo career clearly had to have brought in more money than Lindsey's, though her road expenses are clearly higher so who knows....
Years ago Kenny Rogers wrote a book along with his manager about how the music business works and all the details of the money side of things. It was fascinating. Don't know if anyone's done one on the music biz now.
