Depending on your station you will hear a lot of Beatles, a lot of The Rolling Stones. Before they were blacklisted, I could not listen to a country station without hearing the Dixie chicks twice an hour. Stations are different, but forget the radio. When you are just walking around in the world, in the grocery store, at the hairdresser’s, in a restaurant, is there ANY band or artist that you hear more than FM? I honestly don’t think so.
I feel certain things when I hear them everywhere. Right now I feel sad, angry, wistful by turns. And I always feel quite proprietary too. I wonder how THEY feel, when they’re out and about and hear themselves all over.
