Plays? . . .
On come on you guys, Mick's gainfully employed at the moment, playing drums for Stevie's solo project....or Dave Stewart's.....or something like that.

Apparently this little comedy features many of Hawaii's music scene favorites, most notably Willie K and Eric Gilliom (both of whom played in Mick's Island Rumours Band). I'm not surprised Mick has a bit part, and I'm sure he's getting paid tons of money for this, Viv.

The director is Maui's Brian Kohne:

Kohne describes the film as “Hawaii’s ‘Napoleon Dynamite,’” though he had originally hoped for an epic more in the realm of “Gone With the Wind” or “Ben Hur.” He concluded it would be “expensive to burn down mansions in Wailea: and “we wouldn’t be able to afford to shoot the chariot canoe race in Kahului harbor.”
Why does everything sound like so much more fun in Maui? *sigh*
