$8 is inexpensive to see a movie. Consider the cost of a concert, football game (which looks better on TV, anyway
) or a decent dinner......
Even if you don't like the stars, you always get an education from film.... whether it be from the story, locale, dialogue or fashion... New movies keep you au courant....
I only like to see a movie once....then on to the next blockbuster
, so to see the film on a wall-to-wall screen and super sound system with lots of people enjoying it with you (the flick's volumes so loud you can't hear people talking to each other if they are!) is a great weekend experience. And a movie gives something scintillating for you and your date to talk about at a late dinner afterwards.....
