Sadly just heard this news- have not heard any more details on the passing of Danny. RIP Danny. This man had SUCH a great, strong vibrato, and had SUCH an influence on my playing.What a monster musician. I originally dug heavy into Fleetwood Mac to learn Peter Green's awesome licks on guitar, and in the process discovered one Danny Kirwan and also Jeremy Spencer, who stood along with Peter as some of my strongest influences on the Guitar. I think many of us that loved those awesome licks on the old Fleetwood Mac albums were surprised to find out early on that many of those awesome solos were played by DANNY, not just Peter alone. Such an amazing, underrated player. I play Music full time now, and will always owe a huge debt to Peter, Danny and Jeremy. So sad. Thanks for The Music Danny.
