Well, I wasn't around for the last discussion on this, so...

I'm glad you brought it up. I was thinking the same thing, listening in the car in fact.  I believe Lindsey allowed them to be leaked so that the people who want to hear it badly enough would find a way to get it. He knows those folks will pay money for the real album in a store, even if they get a full preview of it online. I'm sure he's been harrassed and bugged by many fans who are in agony waiting for his next album... And he has so many songs that are perfectly polished and ready for release, if not officially... And he knows they are good and he wants us to hear them! Anyway, that's what I think. He knows that some of his fans are willing to go to the ends of the world wide web to find some of his new music, and they may as well find something.
