Lindsey leaving in 87 had nothing to do with the sales of TITN. It had everything to do with how good the album was. Especially, and mainly the tour de force that was Buckingham and McVie. Buckingham and McVie under the guise of FM and in a more potent and formidable time. Their second best selling album of all time had NOTHING to do with Lindsey leaving. Quite the opposite.
