How does she know why any of these men married their wives? To say they didn't marry them to have kids but rather to have the thrill of romance again-- is she saying they couldn't have the thrill of romance with a woman their own age?? Or does she really mean the thrill of the chase, knowing they can snag a young hottie? She could have had the same but admits she didn't want it, so why the beef??
I love how she says if she'd had the baby in 79 or so she'd have left music. No way. She'd have neglected her kid who would have ended up like so many kids who grew up in show biz and ended up in rehab or worse (Drew Barrymore, Carrie Fisher, Cameron Douglas, hell even her pal Glen's child). I think she knows it was better for her AND the kid to not have it, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's the more admirable choice than having a kid you don't want and messing up its life.
