Even prior to that, Fleetwood Mac's 1988
Greatest Hits album included two new tracks and eventually went 8x platinum in the US. None of the new singles from either
Greatest Hits or
Timespace performed well on the charts, although their inclusion on the compilations was certainly a selling point for those who already owned the studio albums.
