Mark in Las Vegas wants to know about LB's regional music influences -- did he go to clubs and hear local bands, etc.
LB says he was "sort of a square," because he has a folk style before he had lead skills. Played bass in Fritz (didn't name the band by name though) and other band-mates knew what was going on in the local scene, but LB was always playing catch-up. Did see great bands at the Filmore though and picked up on the ambience of that.
