Stevie’s stories on 24 Karat tour were great, a treat for her fans and matched the theme and spirit of the tour which was bringing songs out of the vault. The stories not only provided interesting background but gave context to why they were included in the set list. That tour was pure magic.
Her Gypsy story was perhaps too long but I enjoyed it as well. It wasn’t that much longer than Lindsey’s “I needed to get away” tale from the Dance show that always gave me a nice pee break. And it certainly wasn’t longer than insufferable Not That Funny drum solo.
