There are supposed to be some fairly significant differences in certain plot lines between the books and show. (Characters alive in one and not the other, multiple storylines compressed into one in the show, etc.) Some things that are the same you will know about already, but they are still worth reading for the level of detail and the world building that you just couldn't get in a TV show. Hope you enjoy them!
