My theory is that, of course, Bob titled it "Hypnotized" (Bob being an American, obviously, gave it the American spelling).

The instrumental (or ALMOST an instrumental, anyway) "Safe Harbour" might have been given its title by one of the British members of the band, hence the British spelling. Or, nobody actually titled it, but when they needed to slap a name to it for the album cover & copyrighting, Mick probably scribbled down the title for the graphics people & the legal folk.

It's well-known Fleetwood Mac lore that John McVie gave the Rumours album its title, so therefore, the British spelling.
