I work at an Italian restaurant and have become a lot more well versed in wine since doing so... some of my faves...

Whites:

Riesling (sweet white wine)
Cakebread Cellers Chardonnay
Estancia Chardonnay
Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay
Danzante Pinot Grigio

Reds:

Blackstone Merlot
Beringer Pinot Noir
Banfi Centine Sangiovese

I like some Shiraz too. We don't have a pure Shiraz at my work but we do sell Penfolds Shiraz, which is a blend of several red wines.
