Actually, pain in the butt is a little harsh...I've often joked with my husband that "you may be one big headache, but at least you are never boring" and he seems to agree with me
Families, yes...can grate on our every last nerve...but I think it's just because we know them so well, sometimes better than they know themselves....and we love them so much that when we see them doing 'bonehead' things...we get a bit miffed...at least I do.
