Red Octupus was a #1 album and no doubt they were getting good crowds. Its amazing how fast the Mac exploded from 1975-1976. In mid 1975 they were playing small theaters before the White Album was released. By late 1975 they were the opening act and playing arenas. By Sept 1976 the White Album was #1 and that summer they were playing stadiums with other acts. Things were never the same. They were all millionaires by 1976.
On another note, Bobbye Hall played percussion on the Red Octupus album. I wonder if she toured with Jefferson Starship and this is when Stevie first met her.
