Glenn Frey's solo career had some good songs (I really like The Heat is on and Smugglers Blues) but he had more crap then really good songs. The two that I feel were awful were "The One You Love" and "Livin Right" but Soul Searchin, The Allnighter, and Love in the 21st Century were pretty bad. I would even say that Joe Walsh's solo work and James Gang material was much better then most of Glenn's solo output.
Don's solo work is pretty solid. I loved Boys of Summer. It is one of my all time favorite songs.
As for the newley announced acts I am underwhelmed. NONE of these acts could fill a major stadium on their own and if it were not for the endless oldies package tours some of them have done over the years they would be playing state fairs and casinos for less then 1,000 people in most cases. That doesn't mean I am not a big fan of these acts (I love the Doobie Brothers) but this lineup pales in comparison to Desert Fest.
