At that point, Lindsey would have demanded a delay, since they wouldn’t be in a position to say no. So, Christine would have had to stop working for at least a year and hang her hopes on Lindsey being expedient with his project. Then, he’d demand the band record another album before hitting the road, which would further put them at the mercy of his expediency.

OR, she could side with Stevie, definitely get the big tour right away, maybe another album (band or otherwise), and not have to stop.

She’s almost 76. Seriously, what were her choices?
while you made up a whole bunch of scenarios, the only scenario we know about was that Lindsey was gonna do a short solo tour (he did 2 months!), and that Christine considered dropping in on his tour, according to Rick Turner.

the year of delays, new album, etc etc are purely your speculation and not grounded in any facts.

now, would it be better option for Christine to satisfy her creative juices and make another album at 76, or waste another 1.5 year on greatest hits same ole world tour, after already spending 2014, 2015 and 2017 touring?

and for 5000th time - Fleetwood Mac brand sells. which you yourself were saying in 2017 when you wanted BuckVie to be branded FM (and you have that same argument about your main GbV guy), but now you are conveniently forgetting all about it. so yeah maybe they would be selling out mostly amphitheaters instead of arenas without Stevie. still fine, respectable, and lucrative.
