I love whatever instrument that is, too. I forget. I think Mick gave it to him. Some strange "thumb hammer" instrument or something(hey, I knew what it was when it came out!
).
I like the album vocal(very processed) much more than the outtakes vocal(which was shocking- when I first got the Mirage boxed set).
Mystified (which I oddly link to Only Over You - same type of song) took a long time to grow on me, but(both) eventually did. You know, like 20 years later.
