I write poetry, but there's only one I've ever posted online as yet. Patti Smith is my biggest inspiration
She walks towards him
Looking in his eyes
Staring in his face
She reaches out
To touch his perfect face
As wings unfold
Gasping for last breaths
Rolling, as leaves press into bare skin
Wind bites their faces
Locking their embraces
Still
They lie, heavily breathing
Hands touching
Finally, sitting upright to smooth their razorblade wings.
