Right before a big number, with Stevie waiting to step up to her mic, one of them should have started telling a never-ending story about something — anything — from the Fleetwood Mac annals and just droned on forever with a serious face and done that every night until Stevie finally said, “I’ll shut up if you shut up.”
Another approach: After her long, boring speech, play her song at double speed whilst glancing at your watch.
