Her coat was a fur, his was a heavy sheepskin jacket that Dinky Dawson (the roadie) said the band got for dirt cheap in Denmark or somewhere. Lots of pics floating around w/ Pete and John in those sheepskin coats. They looked warm.
FWIW the best part of John w/ no beard is seeing his chin w/ that cleft, swoon,
so adorable. I think I actually have a pic where he is cleanshaven from around 1988, he looks pretty darn hot.
