I think it is pretty interesting that Thomas Jefferson owned a 16th C copy of the Koran. As Arsenio Hall used to say, "Things that make you go Hmmmmmm?"

Guess the guys that designed this country would be appalled at the state of the country today. And, considering how the European immigrants who "settled" this country acted toward the Natives and the enslaven peoples, the native animals & plants of this continent, etc, it kind of makes one ashamed of one's European Caucasian heritage. To all those who are of Native American heritage, descendants of slaves, and to the spirits of the extinct species of North American endemic flora & fauna (both terrestrial & oceanic), please accept my apologies for the actions of my fore bearers.
