He used to cover so much ground on his guitar. Now he samples, and has another guitarist do a lot of the nuance that I used to love from him.

The backing band has continued to take a highly increased role in every aspect of their live performance. I thought I’m So Afraid and Tusk on the last few tours made it very apparent how much less Lindsey is doing on his guitar. Christine from The Dance vs. anything since 2014 is jarring. And Stevie....same.
Age has everything to do with this and I can just appreciate their performances still but I have to agree when they proclaim they sound better than ever I too roll my damn eyes. Not even close folks.
