It takes about a year for them to even debate releasing new music while starting work on new music, a year for passive aggressive behavior to come and go, at least one if not two greatest hits tours to come and go in order for new material to happen.
This band couldn't fart in a mason jar within a month. It doesn't matter how prolific Neil or Mike may be, unfortunately it will not be their call to make.

A Lindsey-led Fleetwood Mac could never record an album or EP in a month. Most bands can and do these days.
